This album is in essence, a soundtrack of the Kids are alright movie. Jeff Stein was the director and John Entwistle was the musical director. The various songs were recorded from many sources, including the Ready, Steady, Go! TV show, the smothers brothers show and the sweden tour.

The song a quick one was taken from the rolling stones rock and roll circus video, which was only released a few years ago, but was filmed in the 60's. The reason it was shelved was because the who outdid the stones so much that the stones were embarassed!

The LP came with a booklet of photos.
